More Boots, Less Suits
Whereas our country is built by those who do the work.
Whereas after ten years of the Carney-Trudeau Liberals, the carpenter who builds the home can no longer afford to buy the home. Their taxes and inflationary deficits have driven up the cost of everything, shrinking the purchasing power of workers’ paycheques.
Whereas the Carney-Trudeau Liberals’ economic vandalism has resulted in the worst decline in Canadians’ living standards in forty years.
Whereas Pierre Poilievre’s plan for “More Boots, Less Suits will
- Reinstate apprenticeship grants of $4000 for an apprentice.
- Train 350,000 workers by expanding the Union Training and Innovation Program (UTIP).
- Create a special class of rapid EI payouts for apprentices leaving to do training.
- Harmonize health and safety regulations across provinces.
- Pass the Fairness for Travelling Tradesworkers Act, allowing our tradesworkers to write off the full cost of their food, transportation, and accommodation for any job related trips longer than 120 km.
We the undersigned support Pierre Poilievre and the Canada First Conservatives’ plan to build Canada with more boots, less suits.
